This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed for users of the mobile application MyPizzaTool (the "App"), available in Apple's App Store.
The data controller is:
Residing in Italy
Contact: [email protected]
The App does not operate its own backend. All recipe data created by the user (doughs, timers, ingredients) is stored exclusively on the device and is never transmitted to systems controlled by the controller.
The App collects data solely through third-party SDKs (Google AdMob, Google UMP, and Firebase, provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) for advertising, aggregate usage analytics, and diagnostics. No name, email, address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, personal content, health, or financial data is collected or processed.
Specifically, the following data may be collected:
| Category | Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|----------|------|---------|-------------|
| Advertising (Google AdMob) | Advertising identifier (IDFA), truncated IP address, device ID, device information, ad interactions | Display banner ads (personalised or non-personalised based on your consent) | Consent (EEA/UK) / legitimate interest (other regions) |
| Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) | Pseudonymous installation identifier, App usage events (app opens, visited screens, key actions such as saving a recipe), device model, iOS version, language, coarse country-level region | Understand how the App is used in order to improve it | Consent (EEA/UK) |
| Diagnostics and crashes (Firebase Crashlytics) | Anonymous crash logs, stack traces, device model, iOS version, pseudonymous installation identifier | Identify and fix malfunctions | Legitimate interest of the controller in maintaining a working App |
Technical note: the App uses
FirebaseAnalyticsWithoutAdIdSupport, a build of Analytics that never collects the IDFA. Analytics events are therefore pseudonymous and are not linked to the advertising identifier.
On first launch, if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App shows a consent form provided by Google UMP (User Messaging Platform). Through that form you can:
